Timeline of History
- PlayrPRO was won in a competition run by a forum. It included free hosting for a year and a domain name. The name was primarily named after the TV show that aired on Bravo called 'Playr'. We began building parts of the site and was under the .info domain.
- Primarily foccuessed on site reviews we boasted an impressive amount of reviews on our site and was gaining quite alot of visitors per year but unfortunetely due to our lack of web knowledge had to do code everything from scratch so therefore scaled back and the .info domain expired.
- An idea appeared to start making web magazines which were free to read and easier on the eye than a single block of text on a blog. This saw the launch of the first PlayrPRO magazine in January of 2010 which then continued to make 8 more during that year.
- Unfortunetely due to exams the site was left unnattended and for the most part the magazine was left until around July when the E3 special was released. Then we took a break to complete GCSE exams and then travelled to the EuroGamer Expo in London and subsequently made a magazine on it. Also at Christmas a special edition was launched plus a small site revamp.
